LoHi, short for Lower Highland, is the lower, more central part of the larger Highlands area. Visit Denver places it just north of downtown and describes a concentration of restaurants, brewpubs, and neighborhood destinations near the bridges from 16th Street. Commons Park, the South Platte riverfront, and nearby Union Station connections shape the area’s public realm. Its identity is more urban and restaurant-centered than the broader Highlands label, which includes several residential districts.
